CPD Employer of the Year Awards 2013 - Search is Now On!
The 2013 search for the CPD Accredited Employer which uses formal learning & development to best effect is now on. The CPD Employer of the Year Awards are the premium awards for employers of professional engineers and technicians. Now in their tenth year, the Awards aim to recognise successful accomplishment of an organisation’s strategic vision through the use of suitable CPD initiatives.
The deadline for entries will be 28th June 2013.
To celebrate the 10th annual Engineers Ireland ‘CPD Employer of the Year’ competition, we are introducing a new award which recognises that there often is an individual in an organisation - a ‘CPD Champion’ - who drives CPD or inspires others to invest in engineering-led workplace CPD initiatives, which lead to significant organisation performance improvements. Only organisations which submit an entry to the CPD Employer of the Year Awards can make a nomination.
Important
Prior to Friday May 31st, 2013 organisations preparing their entries can avail of a ‘reading service’ whereby executive staff on the CPD Accredited Employer team will recommend any ‘sharpening’ of draft entries. The draft entry will be read by a member of the CPD team in Engineers Ireland but will not be submitted to the judges.
Closing date for entries, Friday 28th June 2013.
Winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013.

Note: The CPD Employer of the Year Awards ceremony is combined with the annual Engineers Ireland CPD Symposium. As well as being a celebration of ‘the best of the best’ in CPD, this combined event will also feature expert speakers on a range of CPD topics.
