Innovative Student Engineer Awards
Innovative Student Engineer Awards sponsored by Siemens
The aim of the ‘Innovative Student Engineer of the Year Awards’ is to highlight excellence in engineering degrees across Ireland. The competition is judged on merit of final year projects. Final year students of Level 7 and Level 8 engineering degree programmes accredited by Engineers Ireland are eligible to enter.
There are two awards:
Innovative Student Engineer 2012 - Level 8
Innovative Student Engineer 2012 - Level 7
How to enter:
The entry should be submitted to Innovative Student Engineer of Year Awards, c/o Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road, Dublin 4. Each entry must be accompanied by a statement of authenticity from the author and countersigned by the project supervisor, head of department or head of school. If applicable this statement must include where and when any element of the project has previously been published or won any prizes.
The entry requirements to enter the awards can be downloaded from the Rules and Application Form section on the right of this page.
Don’t hold back from applying for this competition. Final year is a really busy time but this competition is well worth taking some time out and putting together a summary of your project, you’ll already have the actual project work done! I found the whole process to be really positive!”
