Injection Technology - Crack and void assessment and repair concept / repair objectives; injection materials and its properties; application details, injection pumps and packers; specialities.

Course outline

Injection Technology is widely used often as a repair concept to provide missing material properties, such as water tightness, strength/bonding and durability. The European Standard  I.S. EN 1504, part 5 regulates the use and the limitations of injection materials, which must be CE-certified to tested properties. In addition health and safety  / environmental considerations are often required, i.e. for drinking water applications. Examples are given for the various uses of Injection Technology.
