Training aim

To understand the advanced costing techniques and improve ability to better define a cost loaded CPM schedule in Primavera P6.

• Defining and creating Cost Codes

• Setting up your company’s Financial Periods to be reflected in P6

• Setting up P6 to run Earned Value Analysis

• Managing Budget Logs and Spending Plans in Top-Down Budgeting

Course outline

This half-day course provides the student with advanced knowledge of Primavera’s P6 solution. Building off skills learned in the Introductory Course P6-001, the P6-002C course covers Advanced Costing techniques such Assigning Cost Codes; Storing Period Performance; Earned Value Analysis; Top-Down Budgeting and Financial Periods. Hands-on workshops enable students to apply skills learned throughout the course.
