Shorcontrol Safety is FETAC registered and delivers variety of  training courses, accredited to FETAC, IOSH, IOA, RoSPA, NEBOSH, BOHS, RSA and WJA.

Training aim

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management is designed to provide a sound foundation in environmental management. The qualification focuses on the law and environmental management.

Trainer's profile

Darwin Duggan has MSc in Energy Technology with Distinction and a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science.

He has membership to the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management – Member (MCIWM) – Chartered Wastes Manager.

His full time job involves environmental and health and safety management.

Course duration

5 days + exam day

Assessment & certification

NEC1 is assessed by means of a 2 hour exam.

NEC2 is a project based assessment.
