Workshop overview
 

This interactive workshop will look at key global trends and methodologies in asset lifecycle planning, discussing the main issues facing leading organisations today.  Led by two acknowledged industry experts, the session will explore various plans required to reach the required confidence benchmark for equipment integrity.  Key risk factors in asset lifecycle management will be tackled, making this an invaluable CPD opportunity both for those considering where to start on developing an asset plan as well as very experienced practitioners who want to get cutting-edge insights.  Ample time for questions and discussion will be available.

Expert Facilitators

Darren Jinks, Chartered Engineer, is an ABB Asset Integrity & Safety Principal Consultant who is also a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a Registered Process Safety Professional.  He has over 20 years experience working within the high hazard process industries both in operational and consulting roles.  Darren leads process safety and integrity management assignments for clients right around the world in various sectors including power generation, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food/brewing and chemicals.

Mike Johnson is one of ABB’s leading Principal Consultants providing Operational Excellence consultancy to a range of clients globally.  With a background in Electrical Engineering Management, Project Management, Production and Factory Management, for the past 12 years Mike has operated as a specialist consultant enabling businesses to improve their “Operations Excellence”. Mike believes that an integral part of an excellent business is the integrity of its assets now and into the future.  Key to achieving this is leadership in understanding operations risks, setting operations policy and enabling the operations team, through resources and processes that ensure systematic reviewed to establish that their intent is achieved.
