Seminar Overview

It is no secret that lean can transform workplaces to make them more efficient and therefore more competitive in both domestic and global markets.  Many companies implement some lean techniques, but then stall on their lean journey unsure how to take the leap towards innovation and to keep improving with lean tools.

Dr Richard Keegan, an internationally recognised lean leader, will outline the challenges facing Irish business in continuing with lean, and the latest information on how benchmarking can help your business thrive in the marketplace.  Bringing his vast experience, Dr Keegan will look at why lean is so globally successful.

Throughout the day, other lean experts will help you understand how to continue to grow your business, from mapping value streams to approaching innovation in your workplace.  Experts in lean will help demystify the ongoing process improvement chain to help you continually evolve your operations. Learn from best practice examples from around Ireland in industries such as civil, manufacturing and services about the benefits of lean and how to implement mechanisms to measure and improve business performance.

Delegates will then break out into groups to work through a case example and discuss opportunities and challenges and to engage with others to identify possible solutions in their own work environments. This dynamic event held in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland is not to be missed.
