Seminar overview

This seminar is designed to unpack the Code of Practice for Inspecting and Certifying Buildings and Works for delegates to obtain a better understanding of the core role of Assigned Certifier, with practical information about new working practices under the Building Control Regulations 2014.
Experts will present thorough analysis of the Code of Practice to demystify the role, including a legal expert presenting the liability and legal implications of being an Assigned Certifier complemented by experienced professionals already working in the role. Delegates will also hear from a Building Control Authority representative on common mistakes that have been found when entering details in the Building Control Management System, along with the expectations of submissions from the Building Control Authority.
The Seminar will finish with a Q&A panel, with delegates able to submit questions prior to the event for consideration for the end of the session.
