Seminar Overview
This one-day seminar, organised by the Fire & Safety Division of Engineers Ireland, will cover a broad range of topics affecting fire safety professionals, from legislative to case study examples.  

Presentations on the day will address a broad range of current fire safety challenges and solutions including: the building control (amendment) regulations and risk classification, fire fighting experiences and prevention techniques in the waste management industry, emergency lighting  standard IS3217:2013, hazards associated with commercial cooking operations and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) regulatory compliance amongst others. 
The panel of speakers for the seminar includes Design Consultants, Professional Fire Safety Engineers, Contractors and Regulators specialising in the above areas. 

Seminar Aim

The aim of the seminar will be to inform fire safety practitioners, both public and private sector, of the latest developments and best practice in important aspects of fire safety design and management.

This seminar is addressed at professional engineers and architects, fire safety engineers, building control officers, fire officers, contractors, insurance surveyors, loss adjusters, engineering students and regulators. Confirmation is subject to event fee being finalised. Cancellation fees calculated at 50% of the estimated total bill will be charge for confirmed bookings cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the date of the planned event. A replacement person can attend instead. Cancellations made the day prior to an event will be charged 75% of the total estimated bill. No-shows will be charged the full fee. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing, fax or email.
