Engineers Ireland TV advertisement

Engineers Ireland TV advertisement

28 October 2011 at 00:00
On the 28th October during the Six One News on RTE 1, at approximately 6.20pm, Engineers Ireland’s first ever TV advertisement will premiere on terrestrial TV as we embark on an advertising campaign to celebrate the engineering profession and in particular the professional title of Chartered Engineer.

The advertisement features members at different stages of their career and involved in the different disciplines of engineering. Some are already Chartered Engineers, more have just graduated and are at the stage of gaining the appropriate experience, while others like the students are at the earliest stage of the formal process of becoming a Chartered Engineer.

The ad will be shown across RTE1, 2 and TG4 plus all five Sky Sports channels, Sky Atlantic, Sky News and the Discovery channel over the next two weeks starting on the 28th October.

You may also have heard our radio ad which was broadcast on Morning Ireland. This ad will play from the 28th October on RTE radio’s Morning Ireland and also on Newstalk programmes at different times during the day over the next two weeks.

Plus we will be running online ads on Facebook, RTE.ie, 4OD (Channel 4 on demand player), LearningIreland.ie, Independent.ie and LinkedIn.

Please visit www.engineersireland.ie/charteredengineer to watch the advertisement.

Let us publicly celebrate the engineering profession and what it does for our country.

Regards,

John Power
Chartered Engineer,
Director General
