RPA secure CPD Accredited Employer Award

The Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) has become the latest organisation to be awarded the prestigious CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Accredited Employer standard from Engineers Ireland. The award follows an audit of the company’s lifelong learning practices for their engineering professionals.
 
Commenting on the achievement, John Power, Chartered Engineer and Director General of Engineers Ireland, said: “The CPD Accredited Employer standard recognises organisations which implement specific continuing professional development policies to support their engineers and technical staff. Professional development has become the keystone for companies to stay ahead of their competitors and at the forefront of their customers’ minds”
 
The RPA was established as an independent statutory body in 2001 and has been responsible for the successful delivery of the LUAS system to Dublin. Almost 30 million passengers now use the Luas every year. There
