The Search Begins for Ireland’s Leading Engineers

Entries are now being sought for the 2013 Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards which are held in association with ESB. The competition aims to recognise excellence and achievement in the engineering profession through a number of award categories including the Engineering Project of the Year which is voted for by the public.

Other categories include Technology of the Year acknowledging innovative technological concepts and Best in Class which recognises originality in the delivery of engineering education programmes. Introduced for the first time in 2013 is the International Engineer Award to highlight the work of Irish engineers across the world.

Shortlisted entries will feature in a special 32 page magazine which will be published by the Irish Times on Friday 1st November this year. Other award media partners include SiliconRepublic.com and EngineersJournal.ie.
