Young Engineers (YES)
Young Engineers society (YES)
About the society
The Young Engineers society is a special interest group for young engineering professionals through which they can network with other young engineers of all disciplines at events organised by the society. All members aged 35 or under are eligible for membership of YES. The society supports the professional and personal development of the young engineer with a range of events and workshops geared specifically for the young engineering professional. There is an active social programme, including the annual black-tie Young Engineers Ball, a Summer BBQ and regular quiz nights, giving members an excellent opportunity to meet their peers, to share, learn, inspire and, of course, to socialise.
The Young Engineers society welcomes anyone who would like to volunteer for individual events or to get involved in organising the activities of the society. Volunteering can help develop skills and increase career prospects by improving communication and organisational skills, introducing you to a network of peers and industry associates and increasing awareness of all engineering disciplines.
