Engineers Ireland is governed by a Council of members and an Executive board.

How we operate

Engineers Ireland is governed by the provisions of its Bye-laws and Code of Ethics which are implemented by:

• Council, elected members of Engineers Ireland representing the regional and divisional spread of the organisation

• The Executive, appointed by Council to govern Engineers Ireland on their behalf

Our Executive officers

The President chairs both Council and Executive meetings and represents the organisation on all formal occassions.

The Director General manages the activities and financial affairs of the organisation. He oversees property, assets, funds, and records.
