Who is BAM Contractors?

First established in 1958 BAM Contractors Group covers the entire spectrum of construction in Ireland. Its parent is Royal BAM Group of the Netherlands.

BAM Civil (formerly Ascon) is the largest civil engineering contractor in Ireland. Projects include PPP motorways, road, water & wastewater & marine projects.

BAM Building (formerly Rohcon) ranks among the top six building contractors and has carried out projects of the largest scale for the most prestigious clients.

BAM Property (formerly Ascon Property Developments) is a wholly owned subsidiary of BAM Contractors.

The BAM Contractors Group is certified to the ‘International Safety Rating System’ of DNV, Level 6 and ISO 9001:2000 for Quality and ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management. Turnover in 2007 was €470M and the Group employs 1200.
