Mechanical and Manufacturing Division
About
About this network
About a quarter of Engineers Ireland’s 25,000 members list mechanical and manufacturing engineering as their area of interest. This division acts as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers RoI Regional Branch committee.
We also provide our members with a professional and social network for learning and developing potential business opportunities. They can network with their peers and with representatives from the associated industry groups at events organised by the division.
Our division works to influence national policy in the sector, acting as representatives at national and international meetings, and offering strategic direction to organisations including:
- Enterprise Ireland
- Science Foundation Ireland
- Industrial Development Authority
- Forfás
- The Department of Enterprise Trade & Employment
- The Department of Education & Science
Who can join?
The Mechanical and Manufacturing Division network is of particular relevance to those working, studying or researching in the mechanical and manufacturing engineering sector.
However, membership is open to all members of Engineers Ireland.
How to join
