An Riocht region

The An Riocht Region network covers County Kerry.

About

About the region

We represent many sectors of the engineering industry, including third level education, local authorities, contractors, companies, researchers and many more. Our activities include contributing the Government consultations and organising meetings and events for our members.

Our network events take place in the Institute of Technology, Tralee, which serves as a focal point in the region for the further education and continuous professional development of engineers.

Who can join?

Membership is open to members from all grades of Engineers Ireland and from all engineering disciplines, including:

  • Engineers and engineering technicians working in the region
  • Engineering consultancies and support servicing companies
  • Local government and semi-state organisation workers involved in engineering
  • Academic researchers, lecturers and students
