Seminar aim

The aim of the seminar will be to inform fire safety practitioners, both public and private sector, of the latest developments and best practice in important aspects of fire safety design and management.

Seminar overview

This one-day seminar will focus on the key current issues within the fire and safety industry.

Presentations will address the introduction of the new Building Control Regulations soon to come into force, and their effects on the industry in the future. Members of the insurance industry will also give a presentation on Professional Insurance cover for private practitioners in today’s challenging environment. A presentation will also be given comparing Fire Safety Regulation in Ireland and Poland.

The seminar will also examine some specific areas such as the current challenges with IS3218; BS9991 for Residential Buildings; Domestic Sprinklers and High Hazard Installations.
The panel of speakers for the seminar includes Design Consultants, Professional Fire Safety Engineers, Contractors and Regulators specialising in the above areas.
