Do you have what it takes to be company of the year?
The 2010 search for the CPD Accredited employer that uses formal learning and development to best effect has begun.
The CPD Company of the Year Award is the premium award for employers of professional engineers. Now in its seventh year, the award aims at recognising organisations where Continuing Professional Development (CPD) practices among engineering & technician staff have demonstrated clear-cut business benefits.
Apply in one of four categories
• Less than 100 employees
• 100-350 employees
• Greater than 350 employees
• Public sector
Important dates
Reading
Prior to Wednesday, August 25, 2010 organisations preparing their entries can avail of a ‘reading service’ whereby executive staff on the CPD Accredited Employer team will provide impartial feedback and guidance on draft entries.
Entries
Closing date for entries, no later than noon on Wednesday, September 8th, 2010.
Awards
Winners announced at breakfast ceremony, Wednesday October 6th 2010.
Engineers Ireland CPD Symposium
For 2010, the CPD Company of the Year awards ceremony is combined with the annual Engineers Ireland CPD Symposium. As well as being a celebration of ‘the best of the best’ in CPD, this combined event also featured expert speakers on a range of CPD topics.
