• Can non-members attend courses?

  Yes non-members are very welcome, although they do not avail of the reduced members rate.

• Are courses CPD approved?

  All courses and seminars are CPD approved.

• Is there a discount offered to unemployed members?

  Yes, there is a significant discount offered to unemployed members. Contact the CPD Training team to learn of discounts on offer. Contact membership@engineersireland.ie regarding reduced members fees.

• Can I pay by PO?

  We accept purchase orders, credit cards, cheques and we can also invoice your company.

• Will I receive a receipt when paying online?

  A receipt is issued immediately when paying by credit card online. Invoices are issued for payment upon completion of a course.

• Where is Engineers Ireland?

  Clyde Road is based in Ballsbridge Dublin.4 – The American Embassy is based at the beginning of the Ballsbridge end of the road. View Map
  

• Is there parking at Clyde Road?

  There is street parking available which costs €2.60 p/h from 10.00 to18.30 alternatively there is parking available in the RDS which costs €10 per day – Please mention that you are at a conference in Engineers Ireland to be applicable for this rate. www.rds.ie

• Can I come by public transport?

  There are a number of convenient public transport options when travelling to Clyde Road. Dart: – Take the Dart to Lansdowne station. Turn Left out of the train and walk up about 12 minute walk – www.irishrail.ie.  Luas Line: – Take the Luas Line to Ranelagh and Walk down from there to Clyde Road – This takes about 15 Minutes - Luas website. Bus: – A number of buses pass the top and bottom of the road - www.dublinbus.ie

• Is food provided?

  Lunch is provided for all full day courses. Tea and coffee breaks are also scheduled during the day. If you have any particular dietary requirements please contact the CPD Training team in advance.

• Do I receive a certificate of attendance?

  Certificates of attendance are not automatically issued. Delegates are advised to keep their own record of all CPD for reference. However, certificates can be issued upon request.
