Overview
Many firms are focusing on new business development in the area of public sector procurement, unaware of the rules and regulations of the competition process. This course will explain the EU Directives and Statutory Instruments in Ireland, it will explain the process from start to finish and will be useful for any delegate interested in winning public sector contracts.
Having learned the rules of the game, it is important to look at what your company can do to improve its potential for success in a bid or proposal. The skills in putting together winning bids and proposals is critical to the success of any business and delegates will have the opportunity to develop these skills.

Trainer's profile
Wayne Dignam BA BAI MEngSc MBS MIEI is a bid consultant and has many years experience in public sector procurement. He has a degree in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, a masters degree in Engineering from NUI Galway and a masters degree in Business Studies from DCU.
His background is in construction, managing prequalifications for main contractors, sub-contractors and consortia with engineers and architects and other professions.
Wayne runs his consultancy providing many bid management services such as template and folder design, proof reading, personnel training and certification for quality, safety and environmental management.
