In this presentation, Dr Liam Morris from GMIT describes the experimental techniques used to replicate various cardiovascular diseases and treatment options. The replication of cardiovascular diseases within biosimulators can give a greater understanding of the disease state. These bio-simulators provide a platform for industry device testing, clinical training and surgical planning.
