About the speaker

John Hayes MSc CEng MIMechE MIEE    
John is CEO of Manus Coffey Associates Ltd.   MCA are Ireland’s largest firm of Forensic Engineering Investigators. MCA’s investigations have included:    

  • most of the major industrial fires, in Ireland
  • a number of major fires in the UK and mainland Europe
  • the St Mel’s Cathedral (Longford) fire
  • a number of crime scenes on behalf of the Gardai
  • a number of industrial explosions in Ireland and the UK
  • industrial process failures in Ireland, UK, Europe and Africa
