He will also discuss certified compliant products suitable for this application.

About the speaker

Barry Corcoran has been involved in the construction industry for the past 30 years. In 2004 he joined Crossflow Ltd as an installation and commissioning engineer, before moving into contracts management for the Smoke Ventilation Division of the company.  In 2006 when Crossflow partnered with HC Groep who are one of Europe’s leading design and manufacturers of car park ventilation systems, he became responsible for the design and installation of car park mechanical smoke ventilation systems for Crossflow in both Ireland and the UK markets.

With the addition of HCTS as a partner, Crossflow’s Smoke Ventilation Division expanded into the design and installation of stairwell pressurisation systems and mechanical smoke extract systems for firefighting shafts and he is now responsible for the design team of in house mechanical and fire safety engineers.
