About the event

We're delighted to welcome Tony Roche, President of IMechE on his visit to Ireland when he will deliver his Presidential Address in Clyde Road to members of IMechE's Republic of Ireland branch and the Mechanical and Manufacturing division of Engineers Ireland.  In his Address he will focus on engineering and innovation and the role that engineering plays in serving the wider society.

The Address will be followed by a drinks and finger food reception in Café Clyde where attendees can network and meet with the President.

About the speaker

Tony Roche FREng FIMechE CEng BSc Hon DTech - President of The Institution of Mechanical Engineers
Tony is a career railway engineer who held many senior management posts in British Rail. His final appointment was as the Executive Board Member responsible for Engineering, Safety and Support Services. Throughout his career, he has focused on continuous improvement across all aspects of management performance, working with teams to achieve agreed objectives through constructive challenge.
