Held in association with Engineers Ireland's North East region, Engineers Ireland’s Future Energy Forum will provide engineers, business leaders, executives, students and the public the opportunity to explore Ireland’s future energy developments and gain insight into new technologies and solutions that will be required for Ireland’s continued transition to low carbon energy use.

Innovation Session: 4:00pm – 5:15pm

Representatives from local businesses, the engineering community, students and the general public are invited to meet with local engineering organisations - including Combilift and Glen Dimplex - who are excelling in the fields of energy innovation and research to transform Ireland’s Energy Future.  

Engineering solutions for Ireland’s Energy Needs
Future Energy Forum: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

At the Future Energy Forum, attendees will be provided with the opportunity to gain insight and knowledge into Ireland’s future energy needs and technologies during presentations and panel discussions.

Guest speakers who will highlight their vision for Ireland's future energy needs, include:

  • Mark Foley, CEO, EirGrid
  • Marguerite Sayers, Executive Director, Customer Solutions, ESB
  • Denis Duff, Co-founder, Better Environment with Nuclear Energy (BENE)


Networking opportunities and light refreshments will be served from 5:15pm – 6:00pm and 8:00pm – 9:00pm.
