About the event

There are thousands of oil spills that occur in Ireland every year, many of which occur in the domestic setting. Clare Whitely of Verde Environmental Group will present on the management and remediation of these oil spills which will include a process driven approach along with case studies. The presentation will be of relevance to all professionals with direct involvement in the construction industry.

About the speaker

Clare Whitely is an Environmental Engineer specialising in the field of contaminated land and oil spill remediation. She is a lead Project Manager with Verde Environmental Group and has experience in the successful assessment and remediation of 100’s of oil spills in Canada, the UK and Ireland.

Verde Environmental Group (Verde) is an Irish environmental consultancy and contracting provider. Admission is free and all are welcome.  However, places are limited and registration is required, using the link provided. Bookings should be received by close of business on Monday 15th January.

Complimentary tea/coffee and sandwiches will be available immediately prior to the lecture from 6.00pm (No food or beverages are allowed in lecture theatre).

Free parking is available in designated parking bays after 5pm in IT Carlow.
