Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Renewables O&M Manager, the Operations & Performance Analyst will have responsibility for monitoring, analysing and reporting on the performance, availability and efficiency of the Energia Renewables fleet.  The main responsibilities of this role are listed but not limited to the below.
 
Key Responsibilities
The main duties are listed but not limited to the below:
Ensure all O&M activities are conducted in strict compliance with Energia Safety Rules. 
Monitor and analyse the performance of the Energia renewables fleet.
Produce daily/monthly/annual reports on the key metrics such as availability, generation and efficiency of plant and feedback to management.
Report on costs due to outages/curtailments.
Design and update power curve efficiency analysis.
Coordinate site inspections, outages and repairs with the Renewables Operations Engineer.
Be the Scada super user within the O&M team, manage upgrades and improvements with the system and provide training to team members as required.
Liaison with key internal and external stakeholders. 
Support optimisation of lifetime O&M and asset management planning. 
Liaise with contractors and service providers, ensuring all planned work is carried out as scheduled.
Preparation of technical reports for management meetings and external stakeholders.
Provide support for operational activities on site, and cover the role of Renewables Operations Engineer as required.
Collaborate with the O&M team, keeping up to date with trends and new technologies in the Renewables industry.
Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned in the O&M area. 
 
Person Specification
 
Knowledge and Experience
 
Essential Criteria
Proven experience in a similar role with responsibility for analysing performance of renewable assets.
Excellent IT skills.  Previous experience of PLC Programming, SCADA systems and CMMS or Asset management system such as   Maximo is also an advantage.
Broad based operational and technical knowledge of wind turbines (multi-platform, multi OEM).
Experience in a role with a strong safety and risk management focus.
 
Desirable Criteria
Strong reporting and documentation skills with previous experience of drafting and monitoring work practices and procedures.
Third level degree in the field of engineering, science, statistics or similar.
Extensive knowledge or experience working in the renewables field.
Experience of conducting Grid Code Testing
