Project Manager

 

Location:                       Shannon/Limerick with some travel required.

The Successful candidate will play a key role in managing and ensure the efficient operation of a highly regulated chemical process to ensure that the key objectives of customer satisfaction and operating success are achieved. The role has a strong emphasis on quality, quality control and good management practice.  

Reporting to the Director of Water Services, responsibilities in this varied role will include;

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • To meet the demands of the process through excellent communication, planning and organizing.
  • To ensure that all operations comply with the company and customer quality policy and management system.
  • To manage and develop the customer relationship.
  • To manage direct reports whilst operating both on-site and off-site, conduct staff assessments, reviews and train and develop staff as necessary to meet project goals.
  • To ensure adequate resources exist to meet project goals on a continual basis and to manage and direct these same resources.
  • To continually monitor the performance of the project ensuring that the objectives are met.
  • To ensure the completion of appropriate budgets and ensure activities operate within the approved budget.
  • To ensure that all operations comply with the company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • To support and contribute to improving the company’s management systems.

Key Requirements & Qualifications Desired:

  • Degree qualified in a technical/scientific/engineering or quality discipline.
  • Act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role.
  • Foster and always develop good customer and public relations and to portray a professional image of the company.
  • Report for work in a timely manner and to conduct work as scheduled to company and customer satisfaction.
  • Work within the instructions and procedures of the Company’s systems as directed by your Manager or other management as appropriate.
  • Conduct all duties in a constructive and productive manner aligned to the interests of the company and management.
  • Act diligently and professionally in the interests of the Company.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to promote the positive development of the business to all stakeholders of the business including customers but also extending to staff, contractors, EPA, HSA etc.
  • Demonstrate the company values at all times , i.e. Flexibility, Action, Customer Driven and Trust.
