Engineers Ireland is calling on its regions, divisions and societies to shine a light on their achievements and nominate their top presentation for the 2020-2021 lecture season for the Best Presentation Award.

Co-sponsored by Beale & Co and Griffiths & Armour, the Best Presentation Award recognises members who have contributed to the engineering profession by delivering outstanding technical presentations to Engineers Ireland’s members during the 2020 - 2021 lecture season.

“Engineers Ireland’s sectors - our Regional branches, Engineering divisions and societies - play a pivotal role in our engineering community by facilitating knowledge sharing amongst our 25,000+ members in ways that are relevant, flexible and local,” commented Caroline Spillane, Director General of Engineers Ireland. “With the generous support and sponsorship of Beale & Co and Griffiths & Armour, we look forward to presenting this year’s Best Presentation Award and celebrating the achievements of our sectors. I encourage each sector committee to submit a free entry into this year’s competition and showcase the valuable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) they provide to our engineering community,” Ms Spillane continued.

Tara Cosgrove, Partner at Beale & Co, said: “At Beale & Co, we are passionate about professional development and we are pleased to co-sponsor the Best Presentation Award. As a specialist construction and engineering law firm, we place great value on the contribution of highly skilled engineers to the diverse engineering sector and are proud to offer our continued support to Engineers Ireland and their members.”

Graeme Tinney, CEO of Griffiths & Armour Europe DAC, added: “As a long-term strategic partner of Engineers Ireland, we are proud to continue our support of the Best Presentation Award. As an advocate for professional development, this award recognises the valuable contribution of Engineers Ireland’s sectors and their role in supporting knowledge sharing and professional development amongst their peers, supporting the future growth and sustainability of the profession.”
