Training aim

The aim is to give Attendees an introduction to and understanding of the advantages of choosing IP CCTV cameras over analog CCTV cameras and an understanding of the advantages  of network video.

Learning objectives

This module is the first of three consecutive workshops which cover the basics of network video, video analytics and the design and implementation of a network video solution.

Course outline

This introductory course covers the basics of video technology, a comparison of analog  imagery  versus digital imagery, high resolution imagery versus low resolution imagery, features of network video such as multi streaming, network video systems and components, and uses of network video. A demonstration of IP Cameras is carried out at the end of the course fifteen minutes in duration.

Eamonn O'Donnell: is a Qualified Radio Engineer and Managing Director of Bandwidth Telecommunications with over thirty years experience in the ICT Industry.

0.2 CPD credits will be granted along with a certificate upon completion of the workshop.
