The IEEE PES Student Chapter at University College Dublin is now, for the fourth time, running an All-Island energy research Thesis in Three competition hosted by ESB International. The competition will take place on 8 September 2017. On behalf of the IEEE PES student chapter in UCD, we would like to invite all post-graduate students conducting research related to energy to take part in the competition. Topics may include (but are not limited to): building energy management, energy efficiency, consumer behaviour, energy markets and policy, power system operation and power electronics. A prize will be awarded to the winner, who will subsequently compete in the National Thesis in Three competition, in which all fields of research are presented.
