Engineers Ireland’s Local Government Division is currently conducting a survey of members of Engineers Ireland who work in local authorities. The division is calling on all engineers working in the sector to participate in completion of the survey, in order to ascertain what members want from the Local Government Division in terms of meetings, events, information and support. It wants to know what engineers think, whether it be good, bad or ugly. If you have not received the survey be email and you work in local government, you can access the survey by clicking on this link. The survey will be active until 23 August 2013. If you are not already affiliated with the Local Government Division and wish to do so, simply log on to the members area of the Engineers Ireland website. Once there, select ‘all groups’ in the task bar and click on ‘divisions’. Then scroll down to the Local Government Division, where you can join by clicking ‘join this group’. Should you wish to get more involved in the division, please contact the chair, Vicki Chadwick: vicki.chadwick@louthcoco.ie.
