Roadbridge has become the first construction company to achieve the status of Overall Winner at the National Q-Mark Awards 2014. These awards took place at a ceremony held in the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Dublin on 26 September 2014, attended by some of Ireland’s largest companies. At the start of the night, Roadbridge was first announced as the winner of the Q-Mark for Quality Management Systems Level 3 by the Excellence Ireland Quality Association – the company’s first time to be nominated at this level. However, it did not end there and Roadbridge was unveiled as one of the three shortlisted organisations for the overall National Award for Quality Management Systems, only to be announced as the winner of this prestigious award. “This was indeed a very proud night for the company,” said Conor Gilligan, Roadbridge managing director. “The awards were open to all industries and companies in Ireland who operate to the Q Mark Standard. It’s a huge achievement for the company and no doubt will enhance the profile and status of Roadbridge not just in the construction industry, but as a global corporate. It’ll be looked upon by both clients and all associates of Roadbridge in an extremely favourable light.” Gilligan thanked the company’s Quality Department, led by Peter Byrne, and all the Roadbridge staff, who and operate its Quality Management System on a daily basis. The judges found that Roadbridge demonstrated extraordinary levels of dedication and unerring quality throughout the Q-Mark assessment process. Being named Overall National Champions of the Q-Mark Award for Quality Management Systems demonstrates exceptional standards of quality and excellence in everything the company does.
