I want to change my contact details

Your details can be edited from your membership profile or by emailing with your membership number and updated contact details.

I have misplaced/lost my card/certificate; can I get a new one?

You can order a new card or certificate by calling the membership team (01 665 1334). Please note there may be a charge for this service.

I recently got married and want to update my last name accordingly. How can I do this?

Please email a copy of your marriage certificate to and we will update your record.

I want to add a qualification to my profile

Please submit verification of your qualification and we will update our records.

Send a certified copy of your parchment/transcript/letter to Membership Team, Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, 


Complete the Qualification Verification Form and send it to your college for them to stamp and fax/post back to Engineers Ireland,


If you have original documents/transcripts/letter verifying your qualification, you may post these documents to Membership Team, Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and we will photocopy & return them to you as soon as possible. 

When do I need to renew my membership?

In December, you will receive an email stating that your membership fee for the forthcoming year is available to pay online and your invoice and membership pack have been posted to you. Membership is for a calendar year - January to December. If you join mid-year, you will still receive your new invoice in December/January. A pro-rata rate will apply. You can then arrange payment by one of the following ways:

By cheque or postal order made payable to Engineers Ireland – this can be addressed to the Finance and Professional Subscription Team, Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.


By credit/debit card by calling Finance and Professional Subscription team on 01 665 1320.
