Reinstating my membership

My membership has lapsed. How can I reactivate it?

If you wish to reinstate your membership, please email membership@engineersireland.ie or phone the membership team (01 665 1334) with your updated contact details. You will be required to pay your annual subscription fee and a reinstatement fee. Upon receipt, your membership will be reactivated.

My membership has lapsed and I was a Chartered Engineer/Associate Engineer/Engineering Technician. How can I reactivate it ?

If you wish to reinstate your membership, please email membership@engineersireland.ie or phone the Membership Team (01 665 1334) with your updated contact details. You will be required to pay your annual subscription fee and a reinstatement fee.

Under Section 6 of our Membership Regulations, any member who has been awarded a registered professional title and who wishes to reinstate their membership and title having resigned, or having been removed, from membership in any other year other than the current year is required to submit a declaration. This declaration: (i) confirms that the member has maintained their competence in line with the competence framework pertaining to their professional title and (ii) confirms that the member has adhered to the Engineers Ireland code of ethics.
