Ardmac, the international construction specialist, has announced the appointment of Enda Murphy as head of engineering. Ardmac employs more than 300 people and provides specialist construction services to the commercial fit out, life sciences and data centre sectors. In his role, Murphy will be responsible for the management and support of the design and engineering department at Ardmac to ensure the timely and innovative delivery of the engineering technical function.

He will manage Ardmac’s design and engineering teams to ensure that technical design and delivery is consistent on projects across the business, while also developing a continuous improvement environment within the organisation. He brings with him more than 22 years’ experience as an engineer. He joined Ardmac from his role as project manager within the industry.
