The Structures and Construction division is for structural engineers and civil engineers with an interest in professional design practices and contracting roles in both the public and private sectors as well as academia.

The Conservation Register for Engineers (CARE) is for engineers skilled in the conservation of historical structures and sites. It is a joint Register between the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) and is administered by ICE. Under a bilateral registration agreement civil and structural engineers who are Chartered Engineer members can join the CARE Register.
