Course Objectives

The primary objective of the course is to teach the fundamental elements of Dynamo allow attendees to build the confidence to go and explore the posssibilities that Dynamo has to offer.

  • Become familiar with Dynamo principles
  • Understand the fundamentals concepts and features of Dynamo and node programming
  • Use a range of tools in Dynamo to produce varies effects
  • Use tools in Dynamo to link to, and analyse, Data in Revit
  • Present Information with Revit as created aor manipulated through Dynamo


Trainees should be competent Revit users. Good Parametric tools understandng an advantage. A working knowledge of Windows based operating systems is essential.

Who should attend

This course is not suitable for beginners with AutoCAD Civil 3D unless the trainee has previous experience of designing overlays using alternative means. Notes and videos of the material covered will be provided.

Confirmation is subject to event fee being finalised. Cancellation fees calculated at 50% of the estimated total bill will be charge for confirmed bookings cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the date of the planned event. A replacement person can attend instead. Cancellations made the day prior to an event will be charged 75% of the total estimated bill. No-shows will be charged the full fee. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by email. Engineers Ireland will not be liable for any costs in the event of a course being re-scheduled.  This applies, but is not limited, to any travelling, subsistence or consequential expenses incurred by delegates.
