About the event

Robotics has seen wide ranging developments with increasing public impact from robotic hoovers to robotic chefs.

During this event, our speakers will showcase some of  their work in the areas of robotics applied in space, underwater systems current industrial applications and also how robotics is affected by law.

About the speakers/topics

William O'Connor and David McKeown of UCD will talk about their work on the DELIAN robot arm to be used on a planetary explorer.

Daniel Toal  Chartered Engineer of UL will talk about some of the underwater robotics research that his group have been involved in.

Mike Wilson and Colin Dullaghan from ABB will address some of the current industrial applications they are involved in.

Laura Keogh of Legal Services at Philip Lee Solicitors, will discuss autonomous cars and the laws governing them.
