What are Registered Professional Titles?

Achieving your registered professional title is an important milestone for any engineer or technician. A registered professional title from Engineers Ireland provides peer reviewed and internationally recognised formal recognition of your professional competence. It is an accolade associated with the very best of the engineering profession.

Categories of Registered Professional Titles:

Chartered Engineer 

Chartered Engineers have been assessed by their peers as professionals in their field in delivering the highest standards of quality, expertise and innovation to serve the needs of society while ensuring public health and safety.  They adhere to the Engineers Ireland code of ethics in all areas of their engineering practice.  The registered professional title is internationally recognised and under Irish Law certain engineering work is reserved for chartered engineers. Assessment Route Applications

If you do not have the accredited qualification required to apply for any of the registered professional titles, with relevant experience you may be able to apply for an assessment of your eligibility for an experiential learning route to the registered professional title.
