How to apply

Students must fill in their own application- Parents will be invited to consent to a student attending but should not fill in a form on behalf of a student. We will not accept applications where a parent’s email and name are in the application instead of the students.

Your email- Please use a gmail account or other similar email address. School emails are not suitable as we have discovered that they do not always receive all of our messages. We also require all STEPS EYF attendees to participate in a longitudinal survey (a short survey for the three years following the programme). School emails will not be suitable for these surveys.

Before you start, please check all programme info: dates; number of days; disciplines available; fees etc. of your chosen programme before making your selection. 

You will be invited to make a first and second choice. If you are unsuccessful in your first choice, you will automatically be considered for your second choice should any places be available after the first round of offers. 

You need to provide contact details (email address/phone number) for both your Guardian and your TY Coordinator before you proceed. 

Important: 

1. Keep a record of your login details - username and password - these will be needed at a later stage if your application has been successful 

2. Check your emails regularly to keep up to date on notifications

3. Note the timeline and deadline dates below 

4. First round offers will be made from March to May 2022 (we will contact you via email to let you know if your application has been successful). We will prioritise sending out offers based on the date that the programme is taking place.

5. Deadline to accept offer, send in your guardian consent forms and pay fees is two weeks after receiving an offer. This will all be done by logging in through your online portal. Full instructions will be sent in an email once an offer is made. 

Please complete these steps to apply for Engineering Your Future:

  • Click apply 
  • Create your login and password
  • Validate your email address (you must go to your email account and click on the email to confirm your details).
  • Log back into Apply, using your login and password
  • Complete application form
  • Click ‘Mark as Complete’ to submit
  • Check form again click ‘review & submit’
  • Click ‘Submit your application’
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted.
  • We will contact all applicants via email between March and May to let you know if you have been successful.
