Engineers Ireland MEETA Awards 2017 now open for entry

Entries are now being sought for the Irish Maintenance and Asset Management Society (MEETA) Awards – designed to celebrate excellence in the fields of maintenance engineering and asset management. 

To enter, please download the MEETA 2017 Industry Awards Entry Form, complete and return it with the two page abstract to CMurphy@EngineersIreland.ie before 5pm on Friday 6th of September. 

The awards are an initiative of the Engineers Ireland’s MEETA society, a special interest group for maintenance, reliability and asset management practitioners.  

MEETA promotes all aspects of maintenance and asset management in industry, the public sector, semi-state bodies and third level institutions, and represents the interests of its members on national and international issues such as education, infrastructure and development of the practice in Ireland.

This year, the MEETA Industry consist of four award categories:

  • Technology Award: technically based maintenance projects
  • Management Award: management of maintenance and assets
  • Health and Safety Award: integrated management approach to safe maintenance
  • Environment Award: projects that demonstrate energy efficiency or have an environmental impact

About the society

The MEETA society is a special interest group for maintenance, reliability and asset management practitioners. Members can access relevant events and networking opportunities with peers and associated industry groups.

MEETA promotes all aspects of maintenance and asset management in industry, the public sector, semi-state bodies and third level institutions, and represents your interests on national and international issues such as education, infrastructure and all development of the practice in Ireland.
