STEPS Engineers Week will take place nationwide from Saturday, 4 - Friday, 10 March 2023.

Now entering its 17^th year, STEPS Engineers Week provides children with the opportunity to discover engineering, facilitated by their teachers, parents and local community.

The week long programme is coordinated by Engineers Ireland's STEPS programme – a non-profit outreach programme that promotes interest and awareness in engineering to school students – and is funded by the Department of Education and Skills and industry leaders Arup, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ESB, Intel and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).

Throughout STEPS Engineers Week, primary and secondary school teachers are encouraged to engage with engineering resources in the classrooms to help children discover the exciting world of engineering in Ireland. Engineering companies, third-level institutions and the public sector are also encouraged to get involved and engage with schools about engineering in in their local communities.
