Student membership is available free of charge to students who are enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate Master's degree in Engineering, or related course, at a recognised institution on the island of Ireland or in the UK. This membership category is designed to support students throughout their academic journey by providing access to professional resources, industry insights, networking opportunities, and career development support.

Membership also provides access to a range of benefits, including professional development resources, events, webinars, mentoring opportunities, and information on routes to professional registration.
Please note: PhD students are not eligible for Student Membership. If you are currently undertaking a PhD programme, you should apply for Full Membership, which is available at a reduced subscription rate for eligible applicants.
