Our part-time, in-company and full-time courses run from Levels 5 to 8 in Facilities Management, Project Management, Lighting Engineering, Property Management, Leadership, Health & Safety, Business and Finance.
Training aim
To provide engineers with the skills to design lighting schemes for commercial building such as offices, shopping centres and car parks to conform with EN12464 Lighting Standards.
Learning objectives
Participants will learn how to use the DIALUX program to design lighting schemes to meet EN12464 standards. They will improve their understanding of lighting technologies, energy efficiency, colour rendering and dealing with glare and discomfort. They will consider emergency lighting as well as outdoor lighting requirements.
