Leading heating technology manufacturer Grant continues to provide its professional heating design service to architects, specifiers, and heating engineers throughout the country. The free-of-charge service is helping to save significant time on new-build projects and reassure contractors and homeowners that the heating system has been designed bespoke for the property.

The heating design features a combination of innovative technologies from Grant’s sustainable product portfolio. Offering a complete and highly efficient heating solution for new builds, these integrated heating packages are individually sized and specified by the Grant technical specialists to suit the property and its owner’s heating requirements.

Fully integrated heating package

Dedicated to ensuring a simple process for architects and specifiers, Grant’s technical specialists work closely with the contractors involved in building the property to ensure a bespoke and fully integrated heating package is designed with correctly sized and specified heating technologies. This careful combination, sizing and specification of technologies is vitally important to ensure maximum efficiencies of the heating system.

Each bespoke heating package features a range of award-winning heating technologies from the Grant portfolio including a main heat source, hot water storage unit and heat emitters.

For most new builds, a Grant Aerona3 R32 air to water, air source heat pump is specified as the main heat source which is usually complemented with Grant Uflex underfloor heating and/or Grant Afinia aluminium radiators. Grant smart heating controls are also available within each package to further enhance efficiency.

Grant’s Integrated Heating Packages deliver a highly efficient home heating system for new builds, whilst helping to ensure the property achieves compliance in line with Part L of Building Regulations.

Grant Aerona3 R32 air to water, air source heat pump

The most common main heat source featured in Grant’s Integrated Heating Packages is the A+++ Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump.  Available in four outputs of 6kW, 10kW, 13kW and 17kW, Grant’s Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump offers a sustainable form of heating.

The Aerona3 has quickly become a popular choice amongst those working in the trade due to its cleaner, more environmentally friendly performance, and its ability to lower a property’s overall carbon footprint, which will ultimately help to achieve NZEB building standards.

All four models boast superior seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) and depending on climate conditions and demand on the heating system at the time, can deliver 4kW of heat energy for every 1kW of electricity used. The 13kW and 17kW models within the range have also been recognised by international award programme Quiet Mark for their low noise qualities.

Grant’s innovative heating technologies are playing an important part in helping properties become sustainable as the journey continues towards achieving a zero-carbon future for Ireland.
