Prepare for sweaty palms and shaky hands because this video might give you a fear of heights.

If you're not an engineer or technician who deals with wind turbines or a YouTuber with a hunger for adventure, it's doubtful that you'll have the chance to climb the ladder inside a wind turbine, or better yet, take the emergency exit from it.

YouTuber Tom Scott does just that in this video. If you're scared of heights and getting sweaty palms just by thinking about it, you might want to skip this video. Scott climbs down from the top of a 50m turbine called Octopus Energy's "#1 Fan" after exiting with a tiny hatch in the very top.

Even though you know everything was under control and that Scott wouldn't be injured in any way with those trusty wires carrying him, the video is still kind of terrifying.

However, it is interesting nonetheless, making you sympathise with all those people who have to work there, and who knows, maybe you can be one of those people who'll cross 'Used the emergency exit of a wind turbine' off their bucket list some day.
