Cloud-based spend management company Coupa Software has officially opened its new European hub in Dublin as part of its ongoing growth across the EMEA region. The new office opening follows a rapid 12-month expansion period culminating in the official launch in Eastpoint Business Park, Dublin.

Today, Coupa employs 60 people in the EMEA region, with the majority based in Dublin. As Coupa’s fastest growing region, staff numbers in EMEA are expected to grow in the fields of technical support, professional services, technical account management, integrations support, technical training, DevOps, sales, marketing, finance and HR. In a year-over-year comparison, Coupa EMEA rapidly expanded with three times the number of customers from Q1 2014. “Today’s office opening supports our growth in this region as we continue to work tirelessly to help companies across EMEA save millions of Euros in previously unmanaged spend,” said Rob Bernshteyn, CEO of Coupa. “Our cloud spend management solutions are redefining the value that software should deliver to businesses in EMEA and changing how customers define success from enterprise software solutions.” Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said: “Financial services technology is a specific growth sector which we have targeted as part of our Action Plan for Jobs, and in recent years we have seen impressive jobs performance in this area. Today’s announcement that Coupa, a highly innovative global company in this area, is establishing a new office in Dublin and is expected to create 120 jobs in the next three to five years is a great boost for northside Dublin.” “We’re delighted to have the support of the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, IDA Ireland CEO Martin Shanahan and Coupa’s CEO Rob Bernshteyn here to officially open our new offices in Dublin,” said Kieran Brady, VP Global Customer Support of Coupa. “Our new office space will allow Coupa to continue to invest in our go-to-market capacity and further expand our market-leading product portfolio to provide world-class support for the success of our European customers.” Martin Shanahan CEO at IDA Ireland said: “Ireland continues to attract some of the best software companies in the world. Coupa will service their clients across Europe, Middle East and Africa from their new office in Eastpoint in Dublin. Ireland is the ideal location for companies in the software space that are looking to service the EMEA market.”
