C-CAD Computing, an Autodesk Gold Partner, is set to host two free seminars - the first of which is on ‘Plant and Piping Design with Autodesk Plant Design Suite’, where engineers can meet with their peers and Autodesk experts. At the event, they can see how Autodesk Plant Design Suite 2014 provides comprehensive plant design, modelling and review software – in an economical package – that can help design more efficiently, while staying on schedule and within budget. They can see the latest tools and workflows to help them to innovate ahead of the competition and co-ordinate plant design with other engineering disciplines. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, 29 January at the Rochestown Park Hotel, Rochestown Road, Douglas, Cork from 9am to 12:30pm (includes light lunch). This seminar is supported by Cork Institute of Technology, which has recently introduced a new course, ‘Certificate in Plant and Piping Design', through the Springboard Initiative. CIT will present details about this course at the event. The second event, entitled 'EDM (Electronic Document Management) with Autodesk Vault', will allow engineers to see how Autodesk Vault can provide effective and efficient management of project-related documents and learn about the latest technologies from Autodesk for electronic document management.
